What can I say there’s just “No Easy Way Out” I remember my radio days of disc jockeying and actually playing this hit record for the amazing and super talented Robert Tepper. The song was featured on the Rocky IV soundtrack. This last month I have been totally blown away and amazed and honored to write a music review on Robert’s latest project called “Better Than The Rest” and wow!! the album really is Better than the Rest”. The album starts out with a overwhelming and amazing kick in the face with a huge boom. The album not only is an amazing and brought a breath of fresh air to my musical pallet and music collection also my ear drums.
The album starts with a head banging and a rock beat that has Roberts signature sound all over it. The albums sound brought back amazing memories and bears the definition of true real rock & roll. The next song is called “Better Than The Rest” and Robert once again brings in that amazing and driven perfection pitch and really has impressive lyrics and total and truly musical drive,With the accelerator to the floor. The next song shares that driven feeling and Robert and his vocals and smooth texturing added in his songs have an almost anthem feel to it and really has impressed on me. This brings that true rock & roll feeling and emotion that I have been craving. The next song on this album is a truly amazing and continues with the rock beat and with the amazing talent of Pablo Padilla coupled with Robert it’s a true match made in heaven and really rocked my speakers and is a testament that there is true rock & roll out there. One just has to look for it. “Time Just This Time” a very fine example of a true emotional feelings on a song & allows one to really hear the true talent that Robert brings to your ears.
I’ve been a long time fan of Robert, and this wonderful musical artwork cements this for me. The next song I really and thoroughly enjoyed the song is called ” My Yesterday” and Robert continues soaring above the horizon of solid music that I really missed hearing. As I listened to this amazing and hot and on fire album from Robert Tepper I thought to myself this is real talent and a rock album in it’s purest form. The next song is called “Tell Me You Love Me” and Robert really knocks your socks off. This song has all the makings of what real rock & roll music is supposed to sound like. This is my personal favorite song on this album and shows and smells of rock & roll. Robert Tepper leads the way with this album, with this particular song. “Show Me Where the Light Is Going” another reason to keep the volume on it’s highest point, a real hard edged song coupled with mean sounding guitar works of Pablo Padilla and Roberts incredible vocals. This song will kickstart you and keep the ground shaking.
The next song is called “Beyond The Atmosphere” and Robert continues to soar with his amazing lyrical content and his vocal range that makes the song contagious and very entertaining. ” I Don’t Want to Make You Love Me” Robert sets the mood into high gear and really impressed me. The whole album just flows just right and with all the song assortment really has that sound that comes together and allows your heart and mind take a trip on a rock & roll roller coaster that doesn’t allow room to step off. The last song on this totally amazing album is called “You Know Just How You Feel” it has that coolness with a roughness that truly is remarkable and with the team of Robert Tepper & Pablo Padilla it allows you to turn up the volume a couple of notches and enjoy the true and amazing ride that you are embarking on. I have been totally blown away with this remarkable piece of rock & roll artistry which is defined by Robert Tepper & Pablo Padilla and this album will NOT be out of reach any time soon. I’ve had in my music player for the last few weeks since I have received it and it will be always. The album is a treasure to own and to have in my personal collection and I thank Robert Tepper for his incredible support and friendship and always looking forward to hearing his amazing and truly incredible music. After listening to this album I’m convinced there is “No Easy Way Out” and listening to this album I’m on this ride for a very long time.
