“FINELY CRAFTED WITH DRIVE”

What can I say there’s just “No Easy Way Out” I remember my radio days of disc jockeying and actually playing this hit record for the amazing and super talented Robert Tepper. The song was featured on the Rocky IV soundtrack. This last month I have been totally blown away and amazed and honored to write a music review on Robert’s latest project called “Better Than The Rest” and wow!! the album  really is Better than the Rest”. The album starts out with a overwhelming and amazing kick in the face with a huge boom. The album not only is an amazing and brought a breath of fresh air to my musical pallet and music collection also my ear drums.

The album starts with a head banging and a rock beat that has Roberts signature sound all over it. The albums sound brought back amazing memories and bears the definition of true real rock & roll.  The next song is called “Better Than The Rest” and Robert once again brings in that amazing and driven perfection pitch and really has impressive lyrics and total and truly musical drive,With the accelerator to the floor. The next song shares that driven feeling and Robert and his vocals and smooth texturing added in his songs have an almost anthem feel to it and really has impressed on me. This brings that true rock & roll feeling and emotion that I have been craving. The next song on this album is a truly amazing and continues with the rock beat and with the amazing talent of Pablo Padilla coupled with Robert it’s a true match made in heaven and really rocked my speakers and is a testament that there is true rock & roll out there. One just has to look for it. “Time Just This Time” a very fine example of a true emotional feelings on a song & allows one to really hear the true talent that Robert brings to your ears.

I’ve been a long time fan of Robert, and this wonderful musical artwork cements this for me. The next song I really and thoroughly enjoyed the song is called ” My Yesterday” and Robert continues soaring above the horizon of solid music that I really missed hearing. As I listened to this amazing and hot and on fire album from Robert Tepper I thought to myself this is real talent and a rock album in it’s purest form. The next song is called “Tell Me You Love Me” and Robert really knocks your socks off. This song has all the makings of what real rock & roll music is supposed to sound like. This is my personal favorite song on this album and shows and smells of rock & roll.  Robert Tepper leads the way with this album, with this particular song. “Show Me Where the Light Is Going” another reason to keep the volume on it’s highest point, a real hard edged song coupled with mean sounding guitar works of Pablo Padilla and Roberts incredible vocals. This song will kickstart you and keep the ground shaking.
The next song is called “Beyond The Atmosphere” and Robert continues to soar with his amazing lyrical content and his vocal range that makes the song contagious and very entertaining. ” I Don’t Want to Make You Love Me” Robert sets the mood into high gear and really impressed me. The whole album just flows just right and with all the song assortment really has that sound that comes together and allows your heart and mind take a trip on a rock & roll roller coaster that doesn’t allow room to step off. The last song on this totally amazing album is called “You Know Just How You Feel”  it has that coolness with a roughness that truly is remarkable and with the team of Robert Tepper & Pablo Padilla it allows you to turn up the volume a couple of notches and enjoy the true and amazing ride that you are embarking on. I have been totally blown away with this remarkable piece of rock & roll artistry which is defined by Robert Tepper & Pablo Padilla and this album will NOT be out of reach any time soon. I’ve had in my music player for the last few weeks since I have received it and it will be always. The album is a treasure to own and to have in my personal collection and I thank Robert Tepper for his incredible support and friendship and always looking forward to hearing his amazing and truly incredible music. After listening to this album I’m convinced there is “No Easy Way Out” and listening to this album I’m on this ride for a very long time.

“HONESTY & GOODNESS”

As I began to formulate and listen to the latest music from country gal and wonderful amazing music artist Karisa Kay, a gospel album called “Secret Weapon” where Karisa really pulls out and showcases her magnificent musical diversity & style. The Album starts out with a punch the song is called “High On Jesus” and Karisa has that sound that is just simply put amazing the song with her vocals brings elements of pop country with a whole lot of enthusiasm and Karisa and her vocals were at times Dolly Parton sounding and her band is phenomenal and talented.

It’s been a while since I reviewed Karisa with her first album called “Somebody To Love”. Karisa with this album launches off a whole lot of fire and is a supreme example of how music needs to be heard. Karisa shows her total colors with the next song called “The Other Side Of The Tapestry” and I really love this song it has punch, and a whole lotta rhythm and Karisa has found her niche with this song it matches her just right. With this album I really felt that Karisa is at home and shows her tremendous musicality woven within this amazing assortment of spiritual and positive songs. “If That’s Not Faith” Karisa once again proves who she is as a singer and bringing in her just right vocals and matched with the music that accompanies her throughout this marvelous music album.

“You’ve Been Forgiven” is once again a song that just fits and Karisa brings in her true colors and shines. “Fight In Prayer” Throughout my listening experience on this album I kept thinking that this is a truly remarkable album and Karisa really shows us her message that comes across on all the songs that she sings on this album and I felt her true convictions through the amazing vibes throughout the whole album. “Secret Weapon” a song that Karisa really brings in her true honesty and I most definite felt her heart and soul was within this song and throughout this truly amazing and truly emotional music album. “Where are your Men At” another song that Karisa just allows you to really and truly feel her emotional value brought to her beautiful music. “My Identity” Wow! what an amazing song and really shows Karisa and her maturity through her amazing and positive feelings brought through within her pointed and heartfelt songbook within this album.

“Fill Me Up” Karisa really has something here, Karisa has that true and honest sound and the feelings are real and I felt those feelings all the way through this marvelous and spiritually fulfilling album. Karisa has talent no matter what music she sings, however, with this album Karisa has brought her real style shining through and I love this album. Karisa has made an impact on my heart throughout this album with her sheer honesty and maturity. “Thank you Lord & Mama” Karisa once again shows who she is as a singer and with amazing vulnerability throughout this song and what a complete honest and heartfelt song that truly touches the heart. “Make Me A Diamond Lord” Karisa allows you to feel her strength on her amazing voice that hits the notes just right and her vocals are so truly honest and allowed me to feel her passion and hear her spiritual message

. “Down On My Knees”  this is an amazing example of how much pureness and conviction that Karisa presents with her beautiful gift of song and talent. This song hit home on a personal level and allowed me to think of how many times I’ve spent praying, down on my knees and this song has that feeling of humility that we all should have in our lives. “When The Rapture Comes” Karisa continues to show and sing from her heart and about, what really matters in life, and this song & the whole album  presents who Karisa is as a singer and who she’s gonna be in the future. Karisa is an amazing singer from her pop country music to this amazing and so very heartfelt music album which crosses over all music paths. A spiritual heartfelt and emotionally fulfilling album from a truly spiritual individual Karisa Kay,  with true and heartfelt, honest music that is a true gift in my life & my hopes for yours as well. I thank Karisa Kay for filling that spiritual side and cementing my emotional feelings about life & how important life is with the Lord at our side.

“HAUNTINLY BEAUTIFUL”

As a music reviewer and publicist there are many musicians that I have written music reviews for and from all genres of the business. When I started writing my reviews several years ago I began the journey of my childhood fantasies and dreams, Dreams of that in which I didn’t realize at the time ,being scared and not knowing where it may take me and how far. As a music reviewer I have been asked to write reviews for folks all around the world, and many famous, and many independent music artists not so famous but remain within the circle of all music matters.

With the slogan of my own company for the last 25 plus years,  I have been honored & truly blessed to have written music reviews for all music genre. It was told to me many, many times…” Focus on one genre of music, just write on Country musicians, just write on Rock and Rollers”. Well to put it into perspective, I am a very stubborn and hard- headed individual, and heeded my own advice and continued writing music reviews for all genres and, not just one. I am very grateful and honored and blessed with this decision.

I qualify this statement only because I have written music reviews for folks who play country music, Rock, Jazz, the blues classical and even opera… yes, I said opera! With this being said, several that I have I have been truly rewarded several times that I have written music reviews. What I am eluding to is that all of these artists share my true belief that “Hearing is Believing” and All Music Matters”, and ultimately,. I have been honored, blessed and given the huge opportunity and my all time dream to write for such a beautiful person who is famous as well.

I am speaking of the eldest daughter of the late Elvis Presley and still living mother Priscilla Presley.  Her name Elaine Elizabeth Presley, and what a superb and yet hauntingly beautiful song she has. The song is called “Scared Little Child” and the song is simply put “out of this world” and I actually felt the presence of Elvis just listening to the song for the first time. After speaking with Elaine this cemented my emotional feelings while listening to the song. I have listened to the song several times since & my music player has been in repeat mode ever since. I love the song, and the song really paints a clear and vivid picture of a child in a church praying.

The song is “Hauntingly Beautiful” where I felt not only the presence of Elvis but the presence of the emotional feeling that Elaine brings within her amazing vocals that usher in the presence of spiritual emotions throughout the song. For a little over four in a half  minutes Elaine brought me to my knees and made me feel so blessed and honored and knowing that I took the right path which is set for me by none other than the angels above guiding me in my beautiful life’s journey.

Having my dream come true speaking with Elaine and  knowing who she is and hearing her magical and beautiful gift of music and making me realize that God is always on my side, wherever we may roam. Even as a “Scared Little Child” he is there to always comfort and protect us.

I thank Georgia Paris for the introduction to me and Elaine and making my childhood dreams a reality. I also wish to thank Elaine for sharing her incredible gift of music and her amazing friendship as well. I am anxiously waiting for the release of Elaine’s new project featuring this beautiful and amazing song and many others.

“SUPERB MIX & MORE”

I have listened to lots and lots of music over my music reviewing career, and one most recently. A music writer, and a music performer and amazing versatile talent. Most recently I have the pleasure of actually getting to hear her music and actually speaking with her. Her name is Georgia Paris, and  Georgia has a voice that remains, one amazing voice that sticks to your musical part of the brain and stays with you.  One of the songs that I was able to hear was a song called “Writing On The Wall” and this really showcases Georgia and her writing abilities to it’s finest. I didn’t hear Georgia’s vocals on this as I’d hoped to however,  it is  a superb and amazing and was a enjoyable song that has substance and total musicality. and amazing lyrics. I listened to the next track a cover of a song called “Alone” popularized  by Anne & Nancy Wilson of the girl famed group Heart, with this being said Georgia shows her strength in her vocals. As this song has it’s moments that one must hit just right, Georgia shows her vocal range and does with ease. Another song that I heard was a song that was a remake of the song “Silent Night” the song is called “Twilight Night” and features Georgia’s former band but shows her total music versatility and has and almost darkness to it, but once again has the ability to showcase Georgia for her music abilities and songwriting talents.  I understand at this point Georgia is embarking on a full album release soon and at the time of this writing also embarking on a mini tour with an artist named Desi Rock Hillard and his European tour, with Dr. Johns Surgery Records,  in which I have the real pleasure of writing a review on his music album called “Backroad Symphony”.  I am totally looking forward to hearing more from Georgia, and am anxious to hear what’s next for her in her totally versatile style in music. I thank her for her amazing music abilities and her true friendship and all she does for the many musicians around the globe and her support of what I do, which is write music album reviews.

“REBEL STRUTTIN’ STUFF”

It’s been about 3 weeks since I received my copy of the EP by the cool group named Nashville Non-Prophets and I haven’t let lose since. It’s actually been in my music player for that whole time as I attempt to write a review of them. I describe this band as Rambunctious Rebel Rockers”,  the Non Prophets are an amazing and cool and loud and full of fun and rebel rousers and full of high energy.  The self titled, EP with it’s first cut called “Fixin’ To Drink” has the flavor of a George Thorogood but with lead singer Mitch Laney at the helm, rocks and has the feel of a party til the cows come home attitude within his music. The next song on the EP is called “Beautifully Broken” Mitch has a way of getting his powerfully charged and boastfully lyrics out, the song has that real excitement within the lyrics and the musicality of Mitch is as a singer really stand out. The next song called “Casualties” the rebel rouser feelings arrive in perfect style and Mitch once again shows off with his loud and proud vocals and the song. The next track “Tennessee Ground” shares equally with the rest of the album, and really shows the band for what & who they are, they’ve got rhythm, they’ve got soul, they’ve got rock & roll pumping through their arteries. The song has intricate and layered with guitarisma all over it. Mitch Laney and the Nashville Non Prophets really shred the guitars and rebel their way into your ears. They have a sound that is unmatched and hearing elements of the group The “Cult” along with others that share that Rebel sound in their music. It’s awesome to know that their is are bands out there that make a sound for themselves while keeping your ears entertained and wow’d. I’d love to hear more from them to get a balanced approach in writing my review of them, by hearing more. What I have heard from this cool and guitar ripping band out of Nashville, love to see them in a live experience to get the who fix on them as a whole, but til then I’ve got their amazing and rebel rouser feelings banging in my head, and “Fixin’ to Drink” here’s to you my friends, great job, and keep up with the great sound. Many thanks to Mitch Laney & Gang of the Nashville Non Prophets for their music and their friendships and hope to hear more of your sound in the future.

“DEEP VIBES” AND THOUGHT

If one ever has the ear for solid music, then I’ve got one for you. With a purpose and full of soul and inspiration, and purpose, comes the arrival of an album called “Sir Cole” It’s literally an album chalked full of memories and solid gold performances by a gentleman named Darrell Cole. With this being said after a few chats with Darrell I’ve got the point and feel the pulse on what this going on with Darrell.  The entire album is truly an “Unforgetable ” album and what a truly loved  experience throughout.  Darrell’s vocals are right in tune and never waiver. This album is actually more than a tribute to the late Nat King Cole, but with a message that sings louder than any range can ever hit. The message created and being heard and projected through the space and time limits of the album,  Darrell brings his message to the industry to show others that their is hope. There,  is within the music industry lots of folks that share the dreams of being a singer. there are several music genre are acceptable and Darrells’ choice of music is that of a fading out.  However, Darrell is forever optimistic about where the music arena is & heading. There are a lot of people within the industry that make decisions everyday about what is heard on the radio and what is not. Many of the music artists of today sound the same, some redundant of each other and some a breed a part. This is where Darrell Cole arrives with his message that the guys and gals of yesterday had a sound that was very different and his refined sound brings my ears to the days where all was heard through radio speakers was music that had a message and had substance and seemed to cleanse the negative ways in life. This theme is the message that Darrell would like to project. We all have our lives, and we all live our lives at our choosing, and as I get older myself I reflect on how I can make a difference, and I have found my calling, it’s bringing out the best in all of the 400 some musicians that I’ve written music reviews for and how their message through their music has changed peoples lives and made a difference along side my reviews that hopefully assist in this endeavor also. I really got Darrell and his music and his consistent message of positive vibes through his amazing ability to allowing his tremendous vocals and ability to convey a part of the past and sounding even better than the original singer. With this sound comes a true message of love and ethical thinking on Darrell’s part and where his hopes are that  through his gift of music will bring not only the music industry to recognize this very integral part of music history but realize that we all share the beliefs that we all have different lifestyles, we all have different thoughts, but remain in goodness in all we do, weather it’s writing a song, or assisting each other in life, because all we have is time and very limited. As I listened to this amazing and miraculous album by Darrell Cole I reflected on my own life and thought it allowed me to realize that I’m doing my part of what my destiny is and likewise for Darrell and his wonderful vocals and music accompany. I perhaps challenge you to listen to this superb and positive message transmitting through this wonderful assortment of music of Darrell Cole and his interpretation of the Late great Nat King Cole  and his songbook, and ponder what can I do as a person to make that difference. This album just re affirmed all my beliefs in what I do, and after speaking with Darrell Cole, and we shared the same core beliefs my hope is that many more of you follow the same direction in your own lives. Thank You so very much Darrell Cole for sharing your ttremendous gift of amazing thought provoking and awe inspiring music to life. I thank  Darrell for his amazing friendship & look forward to hearing more of his positive based music and his chalked full of positive vibes chats.
